Frequently Asked Questions

What is changing with the amenity access system?
We are launching a new access system at both aquatic centers. This upgrade will make getting into the facilities easier and more secure for our residents.

How many mobile access points can my household receive?
Each household can receive up to four free mobile phone access points. These are only for Ironwood Crossing homeowners and the people who live in the home. If you need more, an additional request form will be available.

What happens to the blue amenity fobs?
Once the new system is live, the blue fobs will no longer work. You do not need to return them to the office.

Is the new mobile system easy to use?
Very. Once you are signed in, you do not have to open the app or do anything extra. As long as you have your phone with you, the doors will automatically unlock when you are within a few feet of the entrance. It is seamless, quick, and great for anyone who prefers a simpler experience.

Will I get instructions on how to set it up?
Yes. Full instructions for using the amenities through the Verkada mobile app will be sent out by the end of the week.

How do I request access fobs if I don't have a smartphone?
Fobs are not being issued automatically and will only be provided on a case-by-case basis. Management will send out clear steps for requesting fobs once the system is officially live. Please wait for these communications before contacting the office. The Board approved offering access fobs for purchase at $15 each, with a limit of two per household on a case-by-case basis. If you choose to use fobs, you will give up all mobile access points.

Why are fobs not provided for free?
The Board is offering free mobile access to every household, which includes up to four mobile access points. This is actually two more access points than were available under the old fob system. The goal is to give residents a secure, easy, and cost efficient way to access the amenities without having to purchase anything. Fobs are offered at the exact cost to the Association, with no profit added. This helps keep expenses fair for everyone while still giving households an optional alternative.

When will the system be ready?
We are in the final stages of preparation. Thank you for your patience while we complete the last steps.
