Board Transition

In October 2021 the community will be built out and therefore we will transition from a Developer Board to a Resident Board. We have put together this webpage to help you with the transition from the developer board to the resident board.

What is Transition?

The transition is when the Developer-appointed board transitions to the Homeowner-elected board.

As defined in definitions sections 1.28 of the CC&Rs - "... the date that the Declarant no longer owns any Lot or Parcel or any part of the Additional Property."

Voting for your new board will take place in advance of the October 21 Annual Meeting. Voting will be done via electronic ballot through a third party. Residents will vote for five board members. Cumulative voting is not permitted per the community documents, and the state law prohibits proxy voting. Please make sure that we have a correct email address on hand for you before September 30 so that you will receive your electronic ballot.

Running For the Board

You will be electing five members of your community to serve on your resident board. You will vote on two to serve for three years, two to serve for two years and one to serve for one year.

Once the community has elected the board members. The board will vote amongst themselves who will serve as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Director.

We will be hosting a Meet the Candidates' Night on Thursday, October 7. There are no requirements in the documents or state laws that provide requirements for board members, so it will be important to get to know who will be running for the board. Candidates will be asked to provide a candidate statement and participate in pre-election training and candidate events. Residents will be responsible for participating in the election process to make the best decisions they can regarding board members.

Candidate Statement Forms were to be received by September 15, 2021.
